My Jin Shin Jyutsu Story

My Jin Shin Jyutsu Story

In 1996 our nineteen year old son, Danny, was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer, Synovial Cell Sarcoma. The tumor was located behind his right knee. Unfortunately he had to have his right leg amputated.

It was an extremely stressful time in our lives. Our whole family went through a great deal of suffering. During his recovery Danny tried different types of therapies. He was introduced to Jin Shin Jyutsu, and said, “Mom, this is something that you would like very much”. However, at that time it went in one ear and came out the other.

As soon as he returned to college I knew that I needed some help and support in my “new life.”  I signed up for a Stress Reduction class at The Mind Body Center of Morristown Memorial Hospital.  There are no coincidences in life.  I was introduced to Jin Shin Jyutsu in 1997.

With the love and support of family, caring medical professionals, and Jin Shin Jyutsu, Danny graduated from Penn State University with honors. Now, he is doing well and leading a normal life.

I started practicing Self Help Jin Shin Jyutsu, and I was both amazed and intrigued. I have been a Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner since 1998.  This has changed my life, the lives of members of my family, my friends and my clients.
